Crews are set to begin repaving Dodd Road next Monday, September 16.
The last time Willoughby Hills paved Dodd Road was 1999. During the last 20 years, the road has deteriorated so badly that parts of it starting falling into the Chagrin River. Thankfully, Mayor Weger worked with the City Council to get funding from the state and found the necessary City funds to fix the slope failure and finally repave the road this year.
According to District 1 Councilwoman Laura Pizmoht, construction should take approximately 6 weeks and the road should remain open during that time.
