The Salvation Army is well-known as a wonderful charitable organization and we’re now very fortunate to house one of its many resale stores in the old Loehmann’s Plaza at 27625 Chardon Road. At these shops, the Salvation Army raises funds to carry out it’s Christian mission to meet the needs of people without discrimination. In Willoughby Hills, the Salvation Army expects to bring 20 new jobs to our city.
The Grand Opening extravaganza was a huge success, with their trademark brass band, our very own Council President Nancy Fellows, along with Council Vice President John Plecnik, Councilwomen Laura Pizmoht and Laura Lenz and Councilman Dave Fiebig, conducting the ribbon cutting ceremony. Afterwards, guests were treated to a fully stocked store for shopping as well as coffee and donuts. Definitely give it a visit soon!
